TWENTY20 TICKETS SELLING FAST.
The new season is now well underway and the 2008 Twenty20 programme starts in just over four weeks time.
Last season each of Somerset's home Twenty20 games were sell outs and this season is expected to be exactly the same so the advice to anyone who is intending to come along and watch the county in their five home matches is to purchase in advance.
Somerset start their Twenty20 matches with a home fixture against Northants on Wednesday June 11th. After travelling to face Glamorgan at Cardiff on June 13th the county return to Taunton to play against Warwickshire the following day.
Glamorgan play at Taunton on June 17th, after which they go to New Road at Worcester two days later.
Somerset host Gloucestershire on Friday June 20th followed by Worcestershire at the County Ground on June 22nd.
The Sabres play Warwickshire at Edgbaston on June 24th, Northants away on June 26th and a trip to Bristol to take on Gloucestershire on Friday June 27th completes the regional fixtures.
Tickets for all of the above matches are currently on sale and are selling fast so to save money and ensure entry to all home matches why not purchase the five-match Twenty20 pass that costs £50 for adults a saving of £50!
Tickets for the Friends Provident match against Gloucestershire at Bath on Monday May26th are also on sale in advance and once again the club is expecting a sell out crowd at The Rec so supporters intending to go along should buy in advance.
Tickets cost £15 for adults if purchased in advance, compared to £20 on the gate, and those bought later on next week can be collected at the turnstile if there is not time to post them out.
