SOMERSET HOST FAMILY FUN DAY ON MAY 18TH
Somerset will be holding a 'Family Fun Day' on Sunday 18th May, when Somerset plays Worcestershire in the Friends Provident Trophy at the County Ground in Taunton.
One of the features of that day will be an area of the County Ground that will be transformed into a beach and include outdoor tables and chairs, a non-alcoholic cocktail bar and a hot tub( for over 12s).
The club is also providing a number of ther acitivites for the 'Family Fun Day' including games and tips from Taunton Tigers Basketball Team playing staff and coaches, inflatables for all ages, magician, a chance to bowl out a Somerset cricketer, beach cricket and of course a visit from the club's very own mascot Stumpy, who will be on hand to entertain throughout the day to join in with the fun.
All of these activities will be free at the Somerset Family Fun Day at the County Ground on Sunday May 18th, so make a date in your diary.
Meanwhile the winner of yesterday's Stumpy's Bangers' competition was Esme Clarke who is pictured with this article. Daniel Sweeting was second, Fred Lloyd Williams was third and Tim Jones fourth.
