BEN SIDELINED AGAIN
Ben Phillips has suffered a hamstring injury and could miss several Somerset games.
The pace bowler had to leave the field midway through an over against Kent on the third day of the LV County Championship match at Taunton.
After Somerset had completed a 246-run win, skipper Justin Langer revealed that it was a hamstring problem.
"We are not sure yet quite how bad an injury it is, but Ben could be out for a while," Justin told somersetcountycc.co.uk:
"It's a problem we could have done without. The good news is that Andy Caddick is fit again and in our squad for tomorrow's Pro40 game with Sussex."
The Pro40 opener at Arundel will see Somerset select from a 13-man squad, including Arul Suppiah and Omari Banks, as they attempt to make a winning start.
Director of Cricket Brian Rose told somersetcountycc.co.uk: "We will be going all out to win the competition. Our one-day cricket this season has not been consistent enough, but we came good in the Pro40 last year and hope to do so again."
